Create a handmade pendant while learning foundational metalsmithing and stone setting techniques. In this class, students will form a brass bezel around an oval cabochon, solder the pendant and bail, set the stone, and complete the piece with a chain and clasp.
Students may choose from available cabochons or bring their own stone up to 1 inch in size. Please email stone size and shape inquiries to info@springsjewelrystudio.com before class if you plan to bring your own.

Materials:
Brass back plate, bail, and chain are included with a sterling silver bezel. You will select your oval cabochon at the beginning of class. Students may upgrade at checkout for an all sterling silver experience.
Skill Level:
Beginner to intermediate. No prior metalsmithing experience required.
Schedule:
This class is 6 hours total, divided into two sessions.
